Hi, I’m Erica!

I am a speaker, trainer, and writer, creating content around software for creative professionals. I focus mainly on InDesign, Illustrator, and the mobile creativity apps from Adobe, as well as Apple Keynote and iBooks Author.

I regularly present at PePcon (The Print + ePublishing Conference), The InDesign Conference, The Creative Cloud Conference, Making Design in Oslo, Norway, and many InDesign User Groups and educational conferences across the US. I am also a frequent contributor to creativepro.com, indesignsecrets.com, and InDesign Magazine.

No matter how I’m delivering training–in person or via video–I really get a kick out of showing people how to get more out of their software. I love those “a-ha!” moments when the lightbulb goes on in someone’s mind and their whole face lights up at the thought of how to put their newfound knowledge to work.

After living as a location independent nomad for nearly a year and spending three years in El Paso’s beautiful desert, I recently moved to the lush green city of Seattle.
